Meet the Team
Claudia Diamond
Claudia was born and raised in a small town in the province of Newfoundland Labrador before moving to Whitecourt in 1998. Quickly after arriving “out west” she began her career in the insurance industry working as a receptionist at a local insurance brokerage. It didn’t take long for Claudia to move up the ranks and eventually become an office manager. In that same time, she also achieved the highly recognized industry designations of CAIB and CPIB.
Then in 2016 the next chapter of Claudia’s career began when she opened a brokerage of her own which she proudly named Timberland Insurance which is a reflection of the forestry industry which is one of the many industries that Whitecourt is proud to call its own.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends and if you know Claudia at all you know that her biggest passion is of course her love of dogs.
Belinda Hudon
Belinda originally comes from Manitoba where she lived on a family farm until 1999 at which time, she moved to Brandon for about 15 years and then moving to Whitecourt in 2014. After working for a large retail store in town for about 5 years when Belinda moved, she joined Timberland Insurance in February 2019. We quickly realized that Belinda’s many years of retail experience was a big asset to the office in helping clients and we are so thankful to have her as part of the team.
Early on Belinda demonstrated a strong desire to further her education by achieving her Level 1 insurance license in October 2019 followed by her Level 2 insurance license in December 2020. An interesting fact about Belinda is that she has a large Coca Cola memorabilia collection but drinks Pepsi!
In her personal time, Belinda loves reading while cuddling with her cat Mia and when not reading she is outside hiking and kayaking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter.
